At The Vanity Portrait Studio, we believe that printed portraits are more than photographs—they’re what turn a house into a home.
As you rebuild, reconnect, or simply pause to reflect after the LA fires, we invite you and your loved ones to join us for a complimentary day of portraits.
We are a team of California photographers, and we wish to share our gift of portraiture with you as a small gesture of support.

Join The Vanity Portrait Studio at the Los Angeles Convention Center for a special family photoshoot honoring those directly impacted by the LA fires—and the brave heroes who responded.
With space to welcome hundreds of individuals, families, loved ones and best friends, this weekend is a tribute to healing, resilience, and community.
Each family will receive a complimentary 10-minute session, complete with professional posing, on-site editing, and a ready-to-frame black-and-white portrait to take home that same day.
It’s a moment to celebrate fresh starts, create new memories, and stand strong—together, as one LA.

We will have 4x studios available and you will be assigned to a studio upon arrival based on availability.

Don’t know what to do with your hands? That’s where we come in! Our photographers will pose and guide you so that you are looking your best.

Why wait!?! Seconds after your shoot, we’ll be editing, printing, and framing your photos in beautiful white mats. You will walk out with photos ready to display in your home

These photoshoots are open to those who were directly impacted by the LA fires, as well as the first responders who helped our city through the crisis.

Photoshoot Experience

Families of first responders and those impacted by the LA fires are invited to register for a complimentary 10-minute photoshoot at the LA Convention Center.
On the day of your session, your family will be posed against a classic white backdrop and photographed in timeless black and white by one of our professional photographers. Our on-site editor will select your best images, and within minutes, you'll receive digital copies and beautifully matted 5x7 prints ready to frame and display.

Our professional photographers will guide your family to find your best poses in a fun, uplifting 10-minute session. Your best images will be selected and curated on-site, so you can immediately email them to yourself and take home beautifully matted 5x7 prints—perfect for displaying or gifting

While the number of photos may vary depending on group size and combinations, we aim to provide at least one landscape and one portrait image per grouping. You’ll receive unlimited access to your digital gallery via email and one physical copy of each image printed.

Just bring yourself, your favorite outfit (solid dark colors look best in black and white), and your nearest and dearest. Please only bring the family members listed on your registration.

Unfortunately, four-legged friends must stay at home—they aren’t allowed inside the Convention Center.

Each session can accommodate anywhere from 1 to 10 people. Larger groupings may be more challenging to photograph and limit the number of images our team is able to take. Please make sure you include all guests on your registration.

Light snacks and beverages will be available for purchase through a kiosk which will be provided by the Convention Center.

We have space for up to 300 groups across the weekend.

There will be four portrait studios running simultaneously throughout the event.

The LA Convention Center has generously donated free parking for all participants. Spaces will be available in the West Garage. You’ll receive a parking pass for one of the convention center lots via email before your session. Visit https://www.laconventioncenter.com/parking for more information.
